Mr. Rattan Lal Gottra was born on 3^rd April 1942 in village Bonkan, District Sialkot (now in Pakistan). His father was Sh. Banshi Ram (a businessman) and mother’s name was Smt. Indira Devi. He retired as Central Intelligence Officer and is a successful businessman. His article ‘Meghs of India’ has attracted many inquisitive and curious Meghs to know their history.
